I grew up in a small town and it's really hard to go back now. Clover leafs are no substitute for clover fields. It aint the same. But the people don't change much, which to me is good. I guess the only thing we really own are our memories.
This latest batch of songs entitled One Man's Opinion is a collection of stories and events that have stayed with me over the years wherever I've been. And I guess I've been around a bit.

After playing drums for twenty years in St Louis with Alvin Jett and then with The Relatives, I packed up and moved to Chicago. Since then I've done more writing and less drumming which my neighbors sure seem to appreciate.

You can catch me in Chicago at singer-songwriter clubs such as Bucktown Pub, The Grafton, and the Horseshoe, pretty much every week. I've also taken to the road a bit, opening for Robbie Fulks , and playing in places as far off as Auckland New Zealand, and Gweedor Ireland, which has been a hoot.

My latest love is The Nashvillains, a honky tonk band I share with my wife Lori. We appear regularly at The Bird's Nest.
